Thaba Chweu News is a tabloid newspaper situated in Sabie. The newspaper was established in March 2013; through hard work and dedication our first issue was on the 22ndof March 2013. We print every second week twice a month. Thaba Chweu News is a free newspaper; therefore, everyone can have access to it.
We aim to be our readers’ number one choice when it comes to finding news that is local, informative and entertaining and by providing a platform that does not discriminate on any level. We draw employment for local communities. We will achieve the objectives through honesty and by being unbiased in our reporting. We will never compromise our editorial independence.
As Thaba Chweu News we choose to promote a society that does not discriminate or tolerate discrimination based on race, gender, religion or cultural background. We seek to strengthen South Africa’s democratic ideas on a grassroots level. We aim to be an accurate source for news, by being topical, entertaining and educational and we seek to strengthen our readership with our readers by being a voice for the people. We will make ourselves available as a tool for society to speak out against injustices and to bridge the gap between government and the people of Thaba Chweu and the greater Panorama region of Mpumalanga.
